What is Dysport®, Really?

It’s real name is “abobotulinumtoxinA”, which may sound similar to ‘Botox’ because it is! Both Dysport and Botox work on the muscles in the face through naturally occurring proteins. They block nerve signals to facial muscles which contract over time to form wrinkles and contribute to aging skin. With Dysport (FDA-Approved), we will inject small amounts into your face to simply soften lines and wrinkles, while still allowing for expression and facial movement. Results appear natural and subtle, giving a smooth overall appearance.

Any Down Time w/ Dysport? Side Effects?

While we recommend against heavy exercise within the first 24 hours (don’t irritate the injection site), there is no downtime. You may apply makeup and resume daily activities immediately following your Dysport treatment.
